THE NEW SCORPION BAND - SHARON LINDO

Sharon trained in Violin and Recorder at the Royal College of Music, The Guildhall Scool of Music and Drama and the Academie de Musique Ancienne. She now performs and tours Internationaly with many groups including The Sixteen, The Dufay Collective, Consort of Music, Collegium Musicum 90, Chiaroscuro, The Broadside Band, Tarleton's Jig, Baroque 'n Roll, London Early Dance Group, and Sirinu.

Sharon has done much Radio and TV work including The History Man; The Two Gentlemen of Verona; Sister Wendy's History of Painting and The Dutch Adventure for Anglia TV. Sharon also appeared in the feature film Clandestine Marriage. Sharon is also a Composer, Musical Director and Arranger, and her Theatre work includes The Globe (London & Tokyo), The Royal National Theatre, The Everyman (Cheltenham), The Queen's (Hornchurch), Theatre in the Downs (with Tim Laycock), and The Bear Garden Theatre Southwark.
